Rinker Toys 1960 Roadster
Roadster brought in bare by Jim Rinker at Rinker Toy’s. The Roadster interior was completely done in HS3655 green leather. The carpet was made up in the G-7 grey with the matching green leather binding. The convertible top frame was sent out to get sand blasted and to get painted. Once the convertible frame was back, the convertible top was made in the SD2534 Green sonnendeck with the non-original black underside. The top boot and the tonneau cover was also manufactured in the same material.
- Reused customers original dash metal.
- Reused the customers original rear cowl metal
- Production beginning to fit the rear cowl cover onto the rear cowl metal.
- Making minor repairs on dash before recovering.
- Attaching the recovered eyebrow to the dashboard.
- Placing seal on door.
- The door panels for this Roadster were made with 2 pockets, one on each door panel.
- Beginning to fit boot onto the car before installing hardware.
- Boot completely fitted to car, with tenax fasteners installed.
